Another month had gone by and I'm grateful for many things.  One of them being new medicine.

Buprenorphine.  It's a medication that doctors normally give to people who are dependent on opiates (heroin, cocaine, oxycodon, etc.) to help them level out.   In my case, it's used for giving pain relief.  It's helping but it's side effects are a little troublesome.

Some side effects are: headache, stomach pain, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, and persperation.  Others can be serious but not as common:  difficulty breathing or swallowing, slowed breathing, upset stomach, extreme tiredness, unusual bleeding or bruising, loss of appetite, pain in the upper right part of the stomach, and flu-like symptoms.

So far after now that I'm on the second week, I  can say that the headaches are coming and going,  there has been some stomach pain,  the perspiration is a BIG pain in the butt, and tonight the nausea really kicked me in the butt.
Blech.  HOWEVER, it's helping with the pain... and that I'm thankful for.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue to work!

2015.  A new year.

Many things have happened this past year and its too much to type it all out.  I've got to blog more often.

Lots of audio has been made.  Lots of things changed.

We dropped Michael off at the airport to go back to Meridian, Mississippi.  He's there until Jan 18th when he leaves to go to sub school in Connecticut.  It's sad to see him go, but he's ready to go back.  It was nice to have him home.
We drove by Le Cordon Bleu to see where we will have to go tomorrow to meet up with a gentleman who is going to show us the facility.   I think that Mason is kinda looking forward to it.  I sure hope that he truly tries his hand at this instead of screwing around.
