I am currently in Destin, Florida for a family reunion - yet my immediate family is nowhere near me! Meghan and Justin are in Belgium; Mike, Matt, Mason and Michael are in Alaska and Joy is in Texas. This is the furthest away that I've been from my immediate family. It's wild.
I will say and will save up some pictures to put up on Facebook that Destin is very nice. I'm surprised at how the white sands are. And the waves!? Oh holy cow - the waves are wild and fast and rough as hell. Bodacious is what I called them earlier. Lots of seaweed, but then again the current was up and about, too.
